Looking for green technologies for a new home or sustainable products to rehab your current home? Then head over to the new and LEED Silver Certified Santa Fe Community Convention Center for the Green Building Expo. The second annual Santa Fe Green Building Expo, will feature products and services in Green Building. Exhibitors will showcase Green Products, Services and Technologies, the State and City of Santa Fe, Water & Energy Conservation, Tax Rebates and Incentives, Regulations & Codes, and Economic opportunities.

The City of Santa Fe will have a booth to answer questions on the new City Green Building Code as well as Santa Fe’s future as a leader in ecological, sustainable, environmentally-sensitive building. The Expo will open to the public Friday afternoon and will continue to Sunday, November 23.

Green Built Habitat Home Tour
Sunday November 23, starting at 10 am
Buses will take participants to view the Green Built Habitat home for a hands-on demonstration of Green Building techniques. The Green Building Council of the Santa Fe Area Home Builders is constructing the home located at Gomez & Paseo de Peralta using the latest in ‘Green Building’ techniques. The home will feature Insulated Concrete Forms supplied by Nu Duro. This product provides over 100% more insulation, R22 versus R10; increasing energy efficiency and decreasing heating costs. The home's underground, air-tight, heating ducts ensure less heat-loss also decreasing energy usage.
